Like so many families this year. There will be nothing under the tree. I am a mother of three children My oldsest daughter is 15 and I have twins that are 10 (boy and girl).

I think they understand that this year things are tough. There never seems to be enough money to pay bill let alone buy goodies to make. There is money comeing into the house. But just enough to have a roof over our heads.

Although I wish I could do more. We make to much to get food stamps are anything like that, But the bank records show nothing in there or at times it is negitive.

I hope families can remember the true meaning of christmas this year it is not about the toys or who gets the better gift. It is about being with your fmaily and being greatful just to have that.

I'm glad you understand the true meaning of the holidays.  Maybe some of my pages will help you make the best of it while enjoying the true blessings you ahve this season.  Look into Angel Food Ministries to help you stretch your food budget.  Wal-Mart is selling an entire Thanksgiving meal for about $20.

Free Geotrax DVD by mail from Mattel - great for boys!

FREE DVD from Mattel - a great gift!  Precious Places: The Princesses Save the Ball.

Your kids may be too old for the DVDs but maybe you could pass them along to friends or neighbors with little ones.  Also, remmeber to shop after the holidays - I just picked up some rolls of ready-to-bake Pillsbury cinnamon rolls for less than half price just because they say Halloween on the label and th efrosting is orange.  Believe me, they taste the same and they smell yummy while they are baking!

Best wishes, Rosie
